Just another wonderful day what can I say? First morning walkabout by the ponds I finally saw the Geese. First time this year I have spotted them here, 2 couples again. 6 in one litter (or whatever you call it) and 2 in the other. I think the same as last year. So peaceful here almost like boondocking with full hookups. And no overnight fees (part of our membership) sure works for us.
Mom and Pop 6 goslings
only 2 babies here
Now to putter around for a while, Suzie wants to start some spring cleaning inside. Wash walls, cupboards etc...  and I looking for a tiny water leak. I found it! Under our shower,, hmm. Not exactly sure where, can't really get at it, but it is there. So after tearing things apart for a while. Back to the drawing board and sleep on it for  a while. The fix will come to me in a dream I am sure.
Next to check out our water heater , the propane keeps shutting of and does not get to full temp. Air compressor to clean it all out. Wow! it sure was dirty, now works like a charm super hot water now.
Had the guy in Arkona,  from Colorcraft come out and repair a stone chip on the windshield of our coach. Have used him a few times, replaced the windshield in our car, and left windshield on our coach, now the stone chip. So nice that he comes right here on site and is just around the corner.
I had done this repair myself a couple years ago in California, but seems be starting to travel a bit, let's get it done again, paid for by our insurance.
chip repaired should be good
A cooler day with a chilly north wind but afternoon sun, so set up a small tarp for a windbreak, yup that helps. Got some nice outside reading done until time to whip up supper.
pretty nice afternoon
Grill up a couple bone in chicken breasts add to a salad and was wonderful, we do love our chicken.
excellent and leftover chicken, someday soon more soup
While reading after supper outside noticed our neighbors were having a campfire. Gerry and Melinda. So we grabbed our chairs and beverage and wandered over to join them for a while. That's what campers do right?
Hard to resist a nice campfire, even though a chilly night. Just bundle up and enjoy the ambience and conversation. What a super couple they are.
nice fire pit
great company
Tucker and Gerry
And a nice doggie fix for Suzie by the campfire.

Another day of having fun and enjoying this amazing lifestyle. No plans when we woke up but sure did get some things done at our own pace. And even time to visit with some friendly neighbors.
       Thanks for stopping on by.

  1. It's amazing how they can repair those chips and they're barely visible. And the best part is they quit spreading. Glad you got yours fixed without having to replace the whole windshield.

  2. We had a windshield replaced when we were in Florida. We also had a chip repaired. It's amazing how those chip replacements can save a ton of money by not needing a replacement.

  3. Always nice to save some cash by having your windshield repaired.
The wind we had yesterday was too much to have a campfire. Looking forward to having one soon.

    1. I know a group can be a gaggle but is there something specific for the goslings or is that it?

  6. We're enjoying watching a family of Canada Geese right by our campsite. The goslings are growing fast and really enjoy swimming in the lake. Very cute!
