Nice enjoyable, peaceful Saturday, perfect!

Where are we today ?
A bit warmer last night but still cool enough for sleeping with the windows open. Again not a lot on our agenda, just putter around . Pick up a few things at the local store. I thought about waxing our coach after compounding it yesterday, but decided to give my back a rest for a day or two.
Few walkabouts, read for a bit, chat with a few people and just generally enjoyed the day. Overcast with a few rain showers here and there and got immersed in some of our new books under the awning and listen to the light rain, really kinda nice. Peace and quiet with my honey!
they are building a new play room here for the kids
After an enjoyable social hour with our friends (they are leaving in the morning), headed back home to fire up our Weber Q. Bake a couple taters, (and a couple extra for another time). Grill two garlic farmer's sausage, and baked a half loaf of bread.
taters, sausage and bread
I made a small caesar salad and steamed bit of broccoli, put together a very tasty supper for tonight.
yummy
The afternoon rain did not stop the wagon ride tonight thou. Umbrellas and hats everyone really seemed to enjoy it again.
wagon ride is a go!
So there we had a great day, not doing much but sure kept busy and the time just flew on by.
Hope you had a nice one too and thanks again for stopping by.
       Hey have nice Sunday too.

  1. You REALLY are getting a lot of rain. You need to sign the song, "Rain, Rain Go Away" and let me know if it works.

As usual ... food looks great!

  4. We haven't had rain in weeks out here on the west coast and we'd love to get some for a few days anyway. It's dry as bone here.

Another great, simple dinner - the best kind.
