Wed.Dec.14 Jack frost was here!!

Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
 since August 2006

 Where are we Today?

We got up early as usual, had coffees, computing and watch the news and weather, then open the front curtains of our coach and look at the roof of our car. JACK FROST WAS HERE!
Isn't that just amazing!
The sun is coming up and getting warmer so out for a walkabout. What do I see snow in the mountains all around us! Snow covered peaks. JACK FROST WAS THERE TOO!
yep thats snow
Ok that's cool, close enough for us, feels like its getting closer to Christmas and we don't have to be in the cold and snow (just look at it from a distance), is good enough for us.

Walking by the pool and hot tub, steam is rolling off them, looks very inviting for somebody, not me quite yet even thou they are very warm, ice on the pool deck!
Now this is all before 9 am and the sun is just doing wonders around here. So did a bit of grocery shopping, back home and washed the car then our coach with this wonderful weather we are having, puttered around, flushed our tanks and stored the hoses,we leave early in the morning to have some work done on our coach. Check tire pressures, then get out the chairs and we can relax, read our books for a couple hours on a great sunny day. About happy hour I hooked up our Weber Q-100 and fired it up to grill a nice pork loin roast, to accompany a rice pilaf, broccoli w/cheese sauce, apple sauce and coleslaw for a tasty supper.
yummy
Well just as I was finishing with the BBQ the sun was setting across the desert and another beautiful one it was. A perfect ending to a perfect winter day! Boy its a tough life.

  1. Oh, that looks like a chilly morning to us. I guess our turn will come once we are back up in the mountains for Christmas. The days will be great though with nice snuggling weather at night.

  6. Hey, guys ... We slept with the windows open last night, as the overnight low was only 68F.

Alas, we are supposed to get some cooler weather starting tomorrow.

    Take care ... TnT
