Fri. June 24, Another rainy day....

Join us as we travel North America in our
Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August 2006

Over night more rain, this morning more rain, most of today just rain. We had so much heavy downpour the roads in the campground are washing away with deep ruts, they need to get the tractor out again and do some regrading.

Well I did my indoor repairs yesterday so today we can relax, and compute researching "stuff". When the rains let up I would grab the umbrella and got for a few walkabouts. About 2 o'clock just a slight drizzle and the sun was trying to peak out so we went outside to play, under our awning and read a while.
Then a walkabout the resort for a bit and stopped by Trish and Jordans to chat for a while. We noticed the dining tent was a bit stressed from the heavy rains and full of water, so Trish decided to empty it, I volunteered to take the pictures.  And as you can see she got it down without getting wet!!

Nicole and Keith were there as well and we just chatted until it was time for supper. Then back home we go. As we are walking back we saw a familiar trailer pulling in. It was Rob and Pat that we last saw in Rockport Texas this past winter. So we had to stop and say hello, let them park and setup while we had supper, a tasty easy one, leftover lasagna, tossed salad and garlic toast. They stopped for a meal on the way.

With perfect timing Suzie was done the supper dishes and they were all set up so they joined us on our patio for a beverage and we chatted catching up. Its always nice having unexpected company drop by, especially when they bring their own home.

Yes no flooding, but the fields do have a lot of standing water. Was 15c here this morning a bit warmer.
