Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
 since August 2006

nice sunrise
Today starts with a beautiful sunrise, but cool with a heavy frost, furnace on, coffee hot, all is good. On tuesday we canned 10 lbs of sausage, now today with a little guidance from Suzie's mother we will can 10lbs of beef for our winter migration. Six quart jars of each.

We also did 15 lbs of sausage and 10lbs of beef for the farm as well. Once all packed in the jars we put the steamers on the stove and steamed for 3 hours.

After this we were off to Castle Kilbride in Baden, the advance polling station, to place our votes and help establish our Canadian residency. This chore done we were off to do a bit more shopping and back home, to relax a bit.

With afternoon computing done, I whipped up a nice supper with the final jar of last year's sausage accompanied by fried rice and a tossed salad.
