Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer
since August 2006
Only 16 days before our winter migration and we are getting anxious. A few loose ends to tie up, doctors appointments, maintenance of our vehicles, Thanksgiving with our families and good byes to all including our five grandchildren who we will miss, discuss some more of our travel plans and a few last minute grocery items we can't get outside of Canada.
The weekend is over and the sun came out. It was only 13c (54f) but nice in the sun and out of the wind. I went to Forest Foodland to pick up our Thanksgiving Turkey .97 cents a lb (2.13 kg) a good deal here in Canada. Back home for lunch, then the afternoon doing laundry, chat with neighbours, wash and dry our patio mat, we are on the road wednesday morning to the farm before we head south. I even gave myself a haircut with Suzie's help, then we were able to sit in the sun for a while and enjoy a book.
Supper tonight was the rest of our garlic sausage in a jar, boiled potatoes and a tossed salad. Then relax a while with a bit of tv.
